91 series is the standard mobile series for personal and business use — broadly applicable for most voice calling needs.
Landline numbers are restricted to service and transactional calls only; promotional content is prohibited.
Only India-registered businesses can rent Indian numbers or use domestic routes; KYC compliance is mandatory before provisioning.
Both legs of a call must originate and terminate within India (media anchoring) — calls violating this fail with a violates_media_anchoring hangup cause.
Cold calling is prohibited in India; explicit digital consent is required before commercial calls, per TRAI guidelines. High complaint rates can lead to account suspension or blacklisting by TRAI.
Vobiz does not offer toll-free (1800/1860) numbers in India.
