New number activations carry a one-time setup fee equal to one month's rental. UAE numbers are not self-serve: the carrier verifies your use-case (3–4 working days) before documents are submitted, and activation takes a further 2–3 weeks. Numbers must accept inbound calls even for outbound use-cases.
Number registration
Step 1 — use-case verification (before procurement)
Documents requiredBusiness identity
- •Client name — the entity that will own the numbers
- •Website
- •Use-case description (e.g. “an AI agent calling new partners with onboarding instructions; consented calls only, no cold calling, no calls outside business hours”)
- •Expected total volume
- •Expected answer rate
- •Average call duration
- •Direction — inbound, outbound or both
The UAE carrier verifies the use-case before any numbers can be procured. Initial verification takes 3–4 working days.
Numbers must support inbound calls even when the use-case is primarily outbound — outbound-only requests are not approved.
Consent is mandatory: cold calling and calls outside business hours are not permitted.
Step 2 — number request and documentation
Documents requiredBusiness identity
- •Company name, exactly as it appears on the UAE registration document
- •Company address
- •Billing address
- •Authorised person — name, designation and email
- •Proof of ID for the authorised person (UAE government issued)
- •Tax reference number
Address verification
- •Company address and billing address in the UAE, evidenced by the address proof below
Additional information
- •Trade licence or company registration certificate
- •Address proof — utility bill, or Ejari tenancy contract
- •Letter of Intent — completed and signed on the carrier’s template (Vobiz supplies it)
Allow 2–3 weeks from the date documents are submitted for the numbers to be activated.
Both steps run in sequence, so budget roughly 3–4 weeks end to end from first enquiry to a live UAE number.
Vobiz collects and submits the documents to the carrier on your behalf.
