LimeChat builds chat and voice AI agents for Indian enterprises across BFSI, auto, real estate, D2C and hospitality. As voice became central to its enterprise deployments, it moved its telephony to Vobiz for capabilities that could integrate with clients' existing contact center stacks and hold quality through unpredictable peaks: SIP trunk connectivity, inbound and outbound calling, warm transfer with context, and the telecom engineering to connect it to existing stacks.
The Challenge
LimeChat deploys voice AI agents in user journeys that are critical for revenue realization, like app onboarding, loan completion, test-drive booking, e-commerce purchase. This makes the voice AI experience, connectivity and latency critical to the outcomes that it needs to deliver.
Moreover, large Indian enterprises have run their contact centers on established telephony infrastructure for years and expect voice AI to work on that same stack. For LimeChat, each integration was a specialist telecom project rather than a product task, and the expertise was not in-house.
Finally, LimeChat's campaigns run in business-hours windows, and volumes can be bursty. They needed flexible concurrency and capacity that absorbs sudden spikes while latency and audio quality hold.
LimeChat's earlier telephony provider made these challenges harder. Routine configuration took more effort, forcing teams to manage telecom rather than build AI agents, and support did not move at the speed required by live enterprise campaigns.
Brands trust us with mission-critical journeys. If that purchase journey breaks, or if a lead qualification or onboarding journey breaks, it is a direct revenue loss to the brand. And if anything breaks in the quality of the voice, in terms of the latency, that impacts the customer experience.

Why LimeChat AI Chose Vobiz
Volumes on Vobiz have scaled past 350,000 calls a month at a 44–47% outbound connect rate. LimeChat added 10 CPS and 50 concurrent sessions on top of its original allocation last quarter alone, to absorb campaign hour bursts.
Telecom and integration expertise - The capability that mattered most: Vobiz supplies the engineering to integrate with enterprise legacy stacks, which lets LimeChat move fast on deals it would otherwise scope as custom telecom work.
A platform with high degree of self-serve primitives - Vobiz's platform is straightforward enough for the team to configure and operate directly, without the friction of its previous setup and without building a telecom function alongside the product.
Support that matches campaign urgency - Access to the Vobiz team, and the speed of that access throughout operations, was the deciding factor in the deal and the sharpest contrast with what LimeChat had before.
What LimeChat AI Built on Vobiz
Vobiz has been really instrumental in helping us onboard enterprise customers where we have to integrate with their legacy stacks. That is some expertise which we did not have in-house, and their team has helped us implement our voice AI there.

Vobiz connects LimeChat's voice agents to the calling stacks its enterprise clients already operate, with the Vobiz team doing the integration engineering alongside LimeChat rather than handing over documentation. A recurring blocker in enterprise deals is now a repeatable onboarding step.

Inbound and outbound campaigns across enterprise journeys
LimeChat runs both directions of traffic over SIP trunk. Outbound covers batch, business-hours campaigns for lead qualification, onboarding, retention and marketing; inbound covers customer support and the calls those campaigns generate. Retry rules and calling windows run in LimeChat's application layer.
Human escalation with context transfer
When a conversation needs a person, LimeChat transfers the call through Vobiz and passes the transcript and customer context at handover, so the agent continues instead of restarting.
